The BABOR BEAUTY GROUP values the trust and well-being of all its stakeholders and respects existing laws and regulations. That is why our Code of Conduct serves as a guideline for employees and business partners. In collaboration with the external compliance officer, we have  developed and implemented a compliance management system focused on all relevant topics.

This Code of Conduct also applies to our suppliers and gives guidance on the expectations we have from our business partners. These include respect for human rights, compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, economic and sustainable practices, environmental protection and the prevention of corruption. Compliance with the Code is ensured by auditing all suppliers as part of a supplier self-assessment. In addition, the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP regularly carries out an external risk analysis using the PREWAVE tool in order to recognize any violations of the Code of Conduct in good time and initiate appropriate measures.

An open and honest corporate culture is important to the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP and we want all our employees to live up to these values in their day-to-day business.

Implementing and monitoring all compliance regulations is the responsibility of the senior leadership team of the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP. Any breach must be brought to attention at an early stage, dealt with and remedied immediately in order to prevent damage to the company, its employees and business partners. This requires everyone to be vigilant, which is why the company encourages employees and business partners to report any violation and any action or inaction that constitutes a breach of the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP’s compliance regulations.

Based on the EU Whistleblower Directive (EU) 2019/1937, the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP has set up a whistleblower system consisting of an online whistleblower portal and a hotline, which enables employees, business partners and other third parties to submit confidential and anonymous reports of violations of the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP’s compliance regulations. This gives the company an opportunity to report legal violations (e.g. violations of environmental law, competition law or cases of internal theft, sexual harassment or bullying) and complies with the EU-wide standard for the protection of whistleblowers. These reporting channels can also be used to report violations of human rights or environmental obligations that have been caused by the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP’s own business activities or those of one of its suppliers in accordance with Sections 8 and 9 of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG).

If necessary, you can submit a report completely anonymously via the online whistleblower portal on the website www.insider-report.org call the telephone hotline: +49 173 459 11 96. If you contact the portal or the hotline, you will be put through to an authorized ombudsman who will pass on the report without tracing it back to the whistleblower.
